Safety Isolation Type Transformers

    Galvanically isolated safety transformers provide a reliable supply to power circuits with the safety measures of "protective separation" or "protection by switching off". Double or reinforced insulation between the primary and secondary windings protects SELV and PELV circuits.

     OMSAN Safety Transformers provide extra low safety voltages below 50 V AC or 120 V DC. They are manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality management system with CE certification between 5 VA and 5,000 VA power values.

      Safety-isolation transformers are class I industrial transformers designed for low voltage supply in the power industry and switchboards. The individually insulated windings are completely impregnated with varnish under vacuum, making them resistant to dust, moisture and corrosion.

        The transformer must be protected against overload and short circuit with a fuse.

     The power, voltage, frequency, operating factor and similar technical features of safety isolation type transformers are determined by mutual consultation with our customers. Features such as mid-point or galvanic screen are added to the transformers in line with the needs of our customers. The insulation value between windings and between windings and core of safety isolation type transformers is very high and they are resistant to high power for short periods.
