Omsan High-Efficiency Low-Voltage (LV) Transformers
Omsan low-voltage transformers are designed and manufactured to perform energy conversion at the ≤1 kV level with high efficiency, low losses, and long service life.
Thanks to advanced electromagnetic design methods and optimized material selection, transformer performance is balanced to provide maximum efficiency both at no-load and under load. This approach helps reduce energy costs and increase system efficiency, especially in continuously operating systems.
The core structure used in Omsan LV transformers consists of high-quality silicon steel sheets (M330 / M400) with low hysteresis losses, and no-load losses (P₀) are minimized by maintaining the magnetic flux density at an optimum level.
In the winding design, high-conductivity copper is used to keep current density under control, thereby reducing load losses (I²R + stray losses). The winding geometry and layout are optimized to reduce leakage flux, improving both efficiency and voltage regulation.
In terms of thermal performance, temperature rise is kept under control thanks to structures designed for natural air-cooled (AN) or forced air (AF) systems. This extends insulation life, reduces maintenance needs, and ensures long-term reliable operation.
